Hi people!!! How are you guys been going on with life??? especially since uni *hint hint* anyways... this first week has actually been pretty good... except that it has been playing on my emotional state at the moment. It's been refreshingly new, miserably depressing, seemingly alienated in a world of constant fashion shows, (you really need to see the clothes these people are wearing they're ridiculously very fashionable) and most of all contant confusement and certainly a lot of isolation since it seems that a lot of the people are very smart ~_~ *sigh... I'm kinda wishing I could have a much more enjoyable classroom environment because this is really lowering my confidence in actually achieving something out of this class.... *hicks.... oh well... I'm sure that I would be able to do something extraordinary.... someday... and just for the record I hated actually... loathed my reflective practice classes... they're crap... SERIOUSLY!!! Lousy people trying to design emotions through one shape and arranging it to visually represent the type of emotion you're trying to convey... if you don't understand just try this... conveying 'sorrow' by using black and white squares.... that's what I did yesterday... what the heck??!!! It's frustrating!!! (and you know what??!! By the end of the class I haven't even been able to produce the so called 'image') and one of my teacher told me off because I used too small a square and then asked me how do I represent square with a stupid A4 paper as the background and a big square lump enough for the paper to convey 'sorrow'... sorry.... I just got a bit angry back there... *sigh... not really looking forward to the next class.... *hicks *hicks... hopefully I get to get through the class without any worries... *sigh *sigh *sigh sorry for the grudging I've been doing in this blog... Anyways... anything you guys don't like about your classes or... uni???

DATE: 28 FEBRUARY 2005 FIRST DAY IN UNI

Hi guys!!! Wow... our uni days are starting... may it be as bright as the sun and according to plan... although.... mine is not as exactly as I suspected it to be... I got the lamest day ever!!! Well... maybe not as bad... but it's not what I expected it to be... But at least it's a remembrance... :P Anyways... what happened is this: when I went to the orientation day they gave us the vis comm students the "draft" timetable of the classes that we need to attend for the VIZ COMM students... what happen is that I went to my first ever lecture and I went to the Guthrie Theatre... its a theatre situated on the design faculty building but what happen is that even though I met the same person attending the same course as I do it seems that we went to the wrong lecture!!! It was some kind of engineering stuff... (eekkk!!!) and so we went to the wrong lecture.... fortunately we got about 10 mins to discover where our lect is gonna be... so... we made it... and it turned out that the lect is actually a core subject that ALL of the design students need to attend!!! AND there are 300 students in the design course!!!!! How freaky is that??? But the worse part is that there's gonna be this lesson where we would have to present a presentation.... and I have a gut feeling that this is gonna be in front of the whole design students!!!! NNNOOOO!!!! *sigh... we'll just have to see.... I dun even know what's going to happen... as far as I could hope for I really hope it's gonna be okay *hicks... and they say for one of the subject the tutorials won't start until the next 2 weeks... wow... well... we'll just have to see what's gonna happen... and I just found out that for that paticular subject the FACULTY decide which tutorials you're gonna get to... and you know what?? After lining up (with no friends... I got rejected *hicks... just kidding... she has old friends with her... so I went ahead) for about 10 minutes because a heck lot of people wanted to see the tutorials too... I found out that my tutorial's gonna be from 5 pm till 6.30 pm!!! THAT SHUCKS!!! Oh well... and my lecture finished at around 3 pm!!! HOW AM I GONNA SURVIVE?!?!?!? (shucks... guess I'll have to go to the library then...when during my days in Meriden I hardly used the library... :P) Anyways... that's my adventure for today... I won't know what tomorrow's gonna bring... I hope it's gonna be okay... cross your fingers... well... that's the news bulletin for today... my first day at my 'very special' uni... :P What about yours???

Hey... wow... it's been a while since I last see this blog... (even though it's my own) *sigh just a couple more days and I gotta go away from this paradise (menyedihkan *hicks) I can sleep, eat, and watch gazillion tv programs everyday if I stay here... now I gotta get back to the cruel harsh reality of going back to school... I mean uni... same thing though we're still in the process of learning new things when we are in uni too so... it's still the same old routine of getting up early in the morning and realising that I am late then realised the train has been delayed for another 30 minutes after that I will have to curse myself for not getting that stupid P license my couzs have been bragging me about then cursed again because I realised that I won't have the stupid money to buy the stupid car then just started to curse my whole way till I get to UTS... *sigh... the story of my life... Anyways... don't think that I'm always this pessimistic I'm just pointing out what 'may' happen when I get back to my old routine... which is... cursing... (ok not that kind of cursing just you know...) Anyways... it's Sunday and tomorrow's a silly Valentine's Day and I'm not even celebrating it and it's still too early in the morning to wake up but since I am the laziest one to getting up early in the morning unlike my other certain brother who always seems to get up so early in the morning without the alarm clock I am the last to wake up from my entire family... and it's 10.30 in the morning and I still haven't had breakfast..... ~_~ *stomach rumbles Sorry for the rather negative blog that you guys have to put up with... I'm usually this cranky when it's raining and the internet is slow and it's still morning and my stomach hasn't been filled... ok then... *rumbles I gotta get something to eat or I'm gonna die out of hunger here....

Hey guys!!! I know that I haven't been very diligent in the process of "up-to-dating" my blog recently... hehehe.... I guess I'm having too much fun... Anyways... Tomorrow's CHINESE NEW YEAR yay!!! OH JOY!!! Actually it's been raining dreadfully today so... I just hope that tomorrow's gonna be fine... I can't wait ^_^ Oh yeah... yesterday I made a cake with mum... I think she put in too much butter it tastes buttery but it's good though... It took a long time to make becoz we make 'kue lapis' which is teensy weensy layers of each batter is put on top everytime the previous ones cooked so... it took me 3 hours just to complete a tiny cake hehehe... me mum left me with the job she told me she hasn't got the patience... but it turned out ok... the layers were a bit too thin but neat and too buttery but tasty YUM!!!

Hey all! wow.... a new month is already at the foot of our doorstep... this is it!!! I mean... this is IT!!! oh gosh... now i'm scared... nervous... excited... agitated... happy... uncertain... a bit hopeless at times... a bit hopeful at times... so many feelings.... yet still undecided on which feeling i really feel the most... *sigh... can i even decide on these things??? I'm happy yet uncertain.... *sigh like Samantha said decision is the most difficult thing to do.... I want to be able to avoid it if i can... but... *sigh gotta live with it... Anyways... besides the very depressing blog I have just written... GOOD NEWS!!! I CUT MY HAIR!!! YAY!!! No more lion's hair for me!!! wow... this feels better than having long hair... from now on I vowed to have a rather short hair... not the boyish cut... just... short ones.... anyways... that's my blog for today...

Hi all!!! WOW.... it's been a while since I've written something in this blog... *sigh looks like I'm the only one overseas now... well... anyways... I've got completely nothing to say.... oh yeah... one thing... today for some completely out of the universe reason my mum decided to cook spaghetti for breakfast (bwaahahahahaha sorry.... just knowing I'm writing this down really knocks me out) well... just to make matters worst... it was a seafood topping.... I mean.... complete seafood!!! (bwahahahaha... sorry...) anyways I just... ok... not really my type of thing to eat spaghetti as breakfast when I'm in Oz... anyways... in Indo we eat what we like even though the food might seem to be a bit far-fetched than the usual... anyways... I think since this is the first time EVER she cooked spaghetti... anyways... her friend recommended it... its this spicy sauce with lots of dried chillies and black peppers... it was REALLY spicy.... but it was ok I guess.... it's a first time thing so she did quite a bit of a mistake... becoz she didn't jot the ingredients down what she did is that her friend just happen to just say it to her... so... basically... she kinda forgotten a couple of thing that should have been remembered... like... not putting any water into the sauce.... *sigh... and she actually told me to use the whole packet of spaghetti so.... we are left with tonnes of spaghetti and I dun think I would be able to eat another spoonful of spaghetti on my plate.... (oooohhhh... my tummy...) *sigh.... anyways... that's the news for today... over and out...

Hey guys!!! I just got back from my trip and it wasn't pleasant... ~_~ OK there's a lot to complain about here... first there's the overcrowded car... I could tell you how many of us are actually on board the vehicle... there's 5 of my aunties and us 3 the kids (2 cousins came also) so... when u think about it this way... oh yeah plus the driver it would be 9 people on board... luckily i was on the front... he he he... so... 4 of my aunties were on the middle section of the car plus one aunty and the 2 cousins I mentioned on the last section so... if we were in Australia that would be an illegal thing to do... he he he... well... at least there's still room to move a bit of the leg... did you know that they have established a new law stating that you have to put your seat belts on (well... only the front passenger and the driver) still... to me that is a bit weird... *sigh a lot has changed since I'm gone (=_=;)... ok second complain would be the looooong drive (about 4 hour trip) and basically I spent most of the trip micro sleeping.... but the thing that is irritating the most is even though I'm on holiday I have to get up at 6 in the morn coz my aunty wanted to go early so we can avoid the traffic jams (for those of you who don't know Indonesia is very prone to have traffic jams almost at every corner of a small city eg. Jakarta...) so... we had to go early to avoid it... I'll say... it was a long and snaky drive... (we had to go through mountains ~_~) ok after that we arrived, had a little drive around town (......) actually... make that a long ride... none of us knows the city so we end up literally driving through every corner of the city... well... that wasn't really that bad... coz we end up at factory outlets (Bandung is well known in Java as the city with the most factory outlets especially if you actually know where to go there's a lot of 'em) so... after that long drive we got the hotel... ok I got to tell you all about this trip... heck I'll take the next paragraph...

First... when we arrived and didn't know where to go we... sorta... went to a very far away place away from the hustle and bustle of Bandung CBD... and we sorta... by accident discovered where our hotel was gonna be... so... we thought heck... we'll just go there after we go to our relatives' place... we have relatives in Bandung... so... we went and then... after that we wanted to get back to the hotel.. instead (......) we kinda lost our way and didn't know where to go.... so... we ended up driving around the city again for another 2 hours before we found the hotel and by the time we got back to the hotel it was nearly 6 pm and we arrived at the city at about 11 am... and basically... we drove around the city for about a quarter of a day with no indication of where to go and no signs to tell us the directions except the occassional people we have to ask.... (......) it was a VERY long drive... and you can't imagine how many times we actually went through the same street and ending up at the same dead end.... *sigh.... it was fun though.... ^_^ anyways that was just the adventure of one day the next was another big adventure....

But... fourth complaint would be the hotel itself... it was dreadful.... it was brown all over the bathroom... all the wall the shower even the toilet seats are brown in colour with ants everywhere (luckily no cockroaches) and even the carpet is brown... it was dreadful but it was fine I don't think it was that bad but... it's only for a day and a night... so it's a temporary residence... one of my aunt who booked the hotel said she couldn't find any more hotel coz all of 'em were fully booked (-_-) anyways we went becoz a relative (which I have no idea I even have this relative) has their wedding day on this date and on the same place was the partying thingy, with lots of food usually so my aunty booked the rooms *sigh if only I could experienced The Valley... they said it's the best hotel in this town....

Anyway... our relatives invited us to dinner at this restaurant (on our first night)... if you get a chance to come to Indo and visit Bandung you gotta eat there although my aunties still think that another restaurant was much better than this... anyways.... you gotta visit the place at night coz it was so beautiful... you get to eat at this place that overlook the town and from where I stood it was such a beautiful view... *sigh... lights glisten like the starry sky above... it was amazing... really... you gotta visit this place if you ever come here... the restaurant's called Sierra and another's called The Peak... they say The Peak has a much more tasty food but it's the same thing as Sierra a restaurant that stood up on a mountain overlooking the city and best viewed at night ^_^ so... if you ever get the chance visit there....

Ok... I'll probably bored you all out of your wits by this time... but I got one more tale to tell... It's about the wedding thing... we went right? But we couldn't stay long coz my 2 cousins gotta go to school in the morning tomorrow... (ok it seems like I haven't set any time frame so I'll tell it now... the first day we arrived was a Saturday then the eating out at Sierra was on the evening of the Saturday and then the evening of the Sunday was the wedding) so basically Monday... is a school day (not school holiday week) unfortunately for us we thought it was an eating thing... (for those of you who don't know over here we usually have this Prasmanan thing where at the wedding party thing they usually have food everywhere... literally... not a seating, reservation thing but standing up, wait in line, plates in hand, and cutlery on the other, then we go along with the line choosing and scooping up the food we want to eat... so basically speaking... we get free food) but it turned out that we had to sit down and wait for the food... at first the bride and groom walked down the aisle and we all supposedly cheered and claped (but for some reason the atmosphere was a bit somber so clapping was a low) she looked so beautiful and he looked so handsome even though I do not know who the heck they were.... ~_~ and even the parents of the bride and groom looked so glamourous but I think the fathers of the bride and groom looked a bit unhappy having to dressed in such formality... anyways... it was a beautiful wedding except I hated the MC he is so... I don't know... idiotic... well.. you gotta be there... anyways... we arrived at 6 pm and got seated but the food hasn't come yet so... by about 6.45 my aunt said "let's just go" becoz of my couzs so... we were gonna go but got held back by the mother (I think) of the groom coz I think that's the one that is my aunt's relatives (hhmmm... not sure....) so... food came at about 7 pm and we went at 7.30 pm even though the party wasn't ^_^ so.... we only ate the entree not even the main course then we went.... so my stomach was a quarter full and we went back to Jakarta... with bits and pieces of Bandung we said goodbye... then 4 hours later we arrived home... that is all...

By the look of this blog it seems that even by 2 days period of adventure it seems a very full on adventure... *sigh... wished I could have stayed at a better place and know where to go... but... it was a fun, boring, miserable, classic, momentary, dull, amazing, wonderful, tiring adventure.... ^_^

OK i know it's been a while since my last blog.... coz i was particularly sick until a couple of days ago... so... here goes... for some peculiar reasons (for which I am going to tell about later) I got another offer for UTS but this time it's from the design course... of course I couldn't get the NSW ones so i thought since it will get me much closer to the particular goal I'm after I'm actually going to accept this one :) oh geez... I'm so happy... I'm not nervous even until now... but u gotta see my mom's face... moms are always worrying about things.... anyways.... the reason I think the offer was a bit... off course was that the uai for that particular course was a bit off for me... n anyways my couz thought becoz of little interest on that particular course there aren't gonna be a vis comm course... so... it's a big surprise... tell ya the truth.. i was kinda gonna go to foundation (it's gonna take me 6 years!!!) :P so... BIG RELIEVE!!! Now all I gotta do... well... I kinda dunno wat to do... so... let's hope for the best.... I hope u guys get the particular course u want... even if u don't (......) well... that's pretty unlikely.... so let's hope for the best no?? plus if any of you guys want anything just tell me ok??? (except food that is) so... yup...

I'm not gonna be back for some time, or maybe after the chinese new year... so.... anything u want.... uummm... by the way I'm not gonna be here 2mrw...!!! gonna be in Bandung!!! yeah that's pretty good only the real problem is that we're just gonna stay there for only 1 night!!! *sigh... if only.... at least i get to get out of the house for a while.... *sigh.... my life is so boring.... (SERIOUSLY)!!!!

I guess that's probably why I'm cursed... I was going to go swimming tomorrow seems like I gotta cancel that and have plenty of rest.... What a terrible mess I am right now... Can't even taste the food I'm eating... :/ *sigh.... and my voice changed too.... oh gosh....

Hey guys, how r u all?? Well.... noticed I skipped a day on my blogger... We went to the mall yesterday!!! Well... we went to Taman Anggrek Mall (Kimmie's old home) and we kinda just roam around and finally (oh btw I was with my auntie that is only like... 20 yrs old, still her generation is higher than me so I have to call her auntie) ok so we finally went to see a movie and we saw Phantom of the Opera... oh my goodness i was blown away (maybe it was the speaker) but it was so good... I know that it's based on the opera performance of Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber so that's basically why there are a lot of singing in this movie... but my goodness they have excellent voices and the storyline is not that boring either... I mean there are a lot of thrills, drama, romance, murders, deceptions and a lot of singing... pity I didn't really see the opening of the movie because for some peculiar reason we get the 15.oo session and we went in when the announcement was made (in Indo you kinda have to allocate ur seats and also when the movie's starting or about to start the announcement was made... I know... weird culture) but then when we went in the theatre and it was already dark and the movie already started!!! So was a bit disappointed but gotta tell u it's a must see movie!!! Gosh the singings just blew me and my auntie away.... *sigh if only I got that kind of voice... oh yeah and the songs... are just marvellous *sigh but unfortunatelly I cannot remember any of the songs... I'm kinda planning to buy the CD (maybe the pirated one he he he he....) Well... ok rather than boasting about it u really gotta see it...
