"so long and thanks for all the fish..."

Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy... ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!! This is such a good movie that you shouldn't miss AT ALL!! HAHA just thinking about the dolphins makes me want to laugh... hahaha... sorry... I know that this might sound very weird but in the movie Earth has been destroyed by the Vogons...

The story begins with Arthur Dent a normal boring middle-aged British bloke ^--^ I know... that sounds funny... whose house was about to be destroyed for a highway bypass... he refuses of course but then his friend, Ford Prefect who is supposedly an alien impersonating a human tells him that Earth would be destroyed in 10 minutes... that's how the story starts...

So basically they became hitchikers... and through some unexplainable coincidence (mind you there was a story before this but I don't want to ruin it) they got hitchiked by an err... ship owned and operated by the President of the Galaxy as well as kidnapped the President himself... (it is a very complicated matter...) And so what happened is that the ship is being chased everywhere and they supposedly went in search for the ultimate question... which brings me to another subplot...

I have to say that there are so many subplots in this movie... but they are carefully intertwined and flow very well... I was rather surprised but I love this movie...

I don't really know what the main point in the movie really is because I thought in the beginning when I watch the trailer it would be about the book itself but indeed it revolved around 4 people plus an android...

Ok... that sound so random I don't know what I'm talking about anymore...

Let me just say one thing though I absolutely adore Marvin, the manically depressed android... hehehe he is soo funny... especially one of his remark when Arthur and Marvin was left alone, accidentally...

Arthur: Can you think of any idea?
Marvin: I can think of a million ideas, but they all end in a certain death.

HAHAHAHA that was marvellous... and I think he was supposedly programed to have human emotions... but I have no idea how he became manically depressed...

Great casts I thought they fit the part very well... casts include: Martin Freeman as Arthur Dent, Alan Rickman as the voice of Marvin (great work too by Warwick Davies dressed as Marvin), Mos Def as Ford Prefect, John Malkovich is in it too as Humma Kavula, there's also Sam Rockwell as Zaphod Beeblebrox... oh my... there's quite a lot of quirky characters in this movie that makes it so hilarious and quite deep actually...

Alright, alright. Before I ruin anymore... I'm not going to tell you anymore about it but you really have to watch it I thought it was HILARIOUS!! (hmm... I think I better check how many times I have used that word...) But all in all I thought it was a great movie... especially the Vogons (how politically correct are they?)

ps. you are probably seeing a number 42 and wondering what the heck it is about? Well... you will understand once you watch the movie... interesting... If you already know... What do you think about it? And is it appropriate? Coz I have no idea what it means...
